Bridgeport Day Celebrates its Neighborhood’s Diverse Communities

Lion VS Gorilla (LVG), a curatorial collaboration that uses experimental art to build community, is partnering with Version12 to create the First Annual Bridgeport Day, on May 12. Bridgeport Day is a celebration of the diverse communities that make up the neighborhood, and will be a fun, relaxed day where neighbors can meet, talk, mingle, and celebrate the community.

There will be a Bridgeport Day Community Parade that will wind down Morgan Street from the Zhou B Arts Center (35th St.) to Benton House (31st St.), from 2 to 3 p.m. At 3 p.m., the Bridgeport Day Block Party begins, at Benton House, 3052 S. Gratten. www.bridgeportday.com

Día de Bridgeport Celebra las Comunidades Diversas de su Vecindario

Lion VS Gorilla (LVG), una colaboración curatorial que utiliza arte experimental para formar comunidad, está colaborando con Version 12 para crear el primer Día Anual de Bridgeport, el 12 de mayo. El Día de Bridgeport es una celebración de las diversas comunidades que forman el vecindario, y será un divertido y relajado día donde los vecinos se pueden conocer, hablar, convivir y celebrar a la comunidad.

Habrá un desfile comunitario del Día de Bridgeport que bajará por la Calle Morgan desde el Centro de Artes Zhou B. (Calle 35) hasta Benton House (Calle 31), de las 2 a las 3 p.m. A las 3 p.m. la fiesta de cuadra del Día de Bridgeport comienza, en Benton House, 3052 S. Gratten.
