Interview with Josip Trutin Candidate for State Representative of the 2nd District
Small business owner and now candidate for state representative of the second district, Josip Trutin, takes pride in his community involvement and his grassroots organizing background in his district.
Among Trutin’s proposals in this year’s election is to increase the retirement age. In addition, he proposes to eliminate wasteful spending and shrink the size of state government offices. He is also a strong advocate for the closure of the long settled power plants and the establishment of renewable energy plants.
Trutin ran for the same office in 2010 and lost to 16-year incumbent, state representative Edward Acevedo.
